Pro Merita, located at Pro Arte Centre, has always been committed to providing the full range of academics to students from Grade 4 through 12. At Pro Arte Centre, intensive dance instruction for students in these grades is available and allows for those who are committed to professional dance training, to find excellence in academics and arts in one convenient location. There will be a Parent Information Meeting on Friday, May 17 at 7:30pm providing further information on this integrated program and how Pro Merita can provide the best opportunity for dance success for students while at the same time allowing for an individualized public school education!

Pro Merita / Pro Arte – a GREAT relationship!

Pro Arte will be offering the Half-Day Protégé Program at different training levels in the 2019/2020 school year. Here is more information:

Protégé Program.  Intensive classical/contemporary training in small class format.  Different levels offered in a Half-day or Condensed Week format.  These programs are by audition/placement only with limited enrollment in each class.  Students in these programs are offered international competition opportunities, local performance opportunities as well as collaborative events with other arts groups and an individualized training strategy that is unique to their personal goals and objectives.  Please contact protege@proarte.ca for more information and to set up an interview for placement.  Students must be training at an Intermediate Foundation level or have the permission of the Protégé Program Director.  Weekly hourly commitment:  14+ hours (Condensed) to 20+ hours  Prospective candidates are encourage to attend the Parent Meeting on Friday, May 17th at 7:30 to hear more about the program’s options and placement levels.
